General Information
Renogy Subscription gives you enhanced features for Renogy ONE. With a Renogy subscription plan, you can view more data dashboards, get premium after-sales service and other benefits.
There are three Renogy Subscription Plans: Smart Basic, Smart Energy, and Smart Life.
A Renogy Subscription Plan may be purchased on a monthly or annual basis. Subscription features vary for each plan, which you can compare in the table below. Please note that some features are only compatible with specific smart accessories Motion detection requires a motion sensor.
How to Subscribe
Renogy Subscription is currently available in the U.S.
If you don’t have a Renogy ONE M1, visit renogy.com, log into your account, go to https://renogy.com/subscription-plan/, and select Smart Basic+, Smart Energy+, or Smart Life+. Renogy ONE M1 is included in these packages. (Please see all feature details in the above section of "Get the plan that fits your need.")
If you have already purchased a Renogy ONE M1 and paired it with your DC Home app, go to Me > Subscription in the app and select Smart Basic, Smart Energy, or Smart Life to join. When you choose an annual subscription plan of Smart Energy or Smart Life and complete the payment, smart accessories will be delivered to you in 5 to 7 days.
Each user can subscribe to only one plan.
Activate your Plan
If you have already paid for Smart Basic+, Smart Energy+, or Smart Life+, after receiving your Renogy ONE M1, power it on, connect it to the Internet, and pair it with your DC Home app. Then activate your subscription plan in the app (Me > Subscription > Activate). Once your subscription plan is activated, you’ll receive discount coupons in your DC Home app. The coupons can be used on renogy.com (for U.S. users).
For Smart Basic, Smart Energy, and Smart Life subscribers (without a Renogy ONE M1 in the package), the plan is automatically activated once the payment is completed.
Free Trial
If you have already purchased Renogy ONE M1 and paired it with your DC Home app, you get a 30-day free trial when you select a monthly payment plan in the app. Once the free trial starts, you can stop auto-renewal at any time within 30 days at no charge. After 30 days, you will be charged according to the monthly billing cycle and your subscription will renew automatically until you cancel it.
If you cancel auto-renewal within the 30-day trial period, you will have access to plan benefits until the trial period is over. You can also resume auto-renewal at any time during the trial period.

Renew a Plan
If you have joined annual subscription plans Smart Basic+, Smart Energy+, or Smart Life+, you’ll need to re-subscribe annually to Smart Basic, Smart Energy, or Smart Life again in your DC Home app before the 1st year's subscription service ends.
If you have subscribed to a subscription plan (including Smart Basic, Smart Energy, and Smart Life) on a monthly or annual basis, you will be charged according to your billing cycle (monthly or annual). Your subscription will renew automatically until you stop the auto-renewal or cancel the subscription.
Stop or Resume Auto-Renewal
You may stop auto-renewal at any time before the subscription period ends. You can also resume auto-renewal at any time within the subscription period. To stop or resume auto-renewal contact us at renogy.com/contact-us
Once you stop auto-renewal, your subscription plan will no longer renew automatically at the end of your current billing cycle. You will continue to have access to the subscription service until your billing cycle ends.
Cancel a Plan
If you have subscribed to an annual subscription plan, you can cancel the plan at any time and receive a prorated refund. For example, if you used your annual plan for 3 months, you’ll receive a refund for the remaining 9 months you didn’t use. However, the cost of hardware products (if any, e.g. Smart Plug, Smart Relay, etc.) that came with the plan will be deducted from the refund amount first.

If you’re eligible for a refund, the refund will be issued to the payment method in your Renogy account or DC Home account, depending on how you purchased the subscription plan. Please allow up to 10 business days for the refund to process.
Data Storage after the Subscription Ends
When the subscription service (including the 30-day free trial) ends or is downgraded, your data visibility will be limited. The data available to you at your previous subscription level will be stored by Renogy for 30 days. After 30 days it will be deleted unless you resubscribe in that period.

You may upgrade your subscription plan (for example, from Smart Basic to Smart Energy) or downgrade it (for example, from Smart Life to Smart Energy).

Am I eligible for a subscription plan?
If you have Renogy's energy devices that support communication (Bluetooth/RS485/RV-C) but don't have a Renogy ONE yet, we recommend that you join one of these subscription plans: Smart Basic+, Smart Energy+, or Smart Life+. A Renogy ONE M1 is included in the package.
If you already have a Renogy ONE M1, you can join a subscription plan including Smart Basic, Smart Energy, and Smart Life.
What's the difference between Smart Basic+ / Smart Energy+ / Smart Life+ and Smart Basic / Smart Energy / Smart Life?
The subscription plan with "+" means there is a one-year subscription plus a Renogy ONE M1 in the package. There is no difference in terms of the subscription features.
Can I try the subscription service for free before I subscribe?
Yes. If you have already purchased a Renogy ONE M1 and paired it with your DC Home app, you get access to a 30-day free trial when you select a plan and choose Monthly Payment in the app.
Why do I need a payment method to start my free trial for Smart Basic / Smart Energy / Smart Life?
We ask for a payment method to prevent any interruption in service at the end of your free trial period.
Can I cancel the subscription service during the free trial period?
Once the free trial has started, you can stop the auto-renewal anytime within 30 days without incurring a charge. If you stop auto-renewal within the 30-day free trial period, the benefits continue until the 30-day trial is over. Before that, you can resume the auto-renewal at any time.
I am having trouble subscribing for my power monitor. What do I do?

Once your subscription plan is activated in the DC Home app, you will receive the coupons in your DC Home app. The coupons can be used on renogy.com (for U.S. users).
I've paid for Smart Basic+ / Smart Energy+ / Smart Life+. How should I activate it?
When you receive your Renogy ONE M1, power it on first. Then connect this off-grid home energy monitor to the Internet, pair it with your DC Home app, then activate your subscription plan in the app (Me > Subscription > Activate).
I've joined Smart Basic+ / Smart Energy+ / Smart Life+. When it expires, do I need to re-subscribe to it?
